With turmeric products, it is not the high curcumin dosage that matters, but rather how much curcumin reaches the body. Since curcumin is fat-soluble, it is excreted from the body in very large quantities. The micellar curcumin form in Acurmin PLUS allows the ingredient to be absorbed by the body up to 185 times better. With the recommended daily dose of 2 capsules of Acurmin PLUS (1,000 mg), the bioequivalent of approx. 10 to 12 grams of native extract powder is absorbed.
We recommend taking Acurmin PLUS on a long-term basis. By taking at least 2 capsules daily, the long-term curcumin level can be built up and kept stable over a longer period of time. Cells and the organism can thus be optimally supplied with micellar turmeric.
No, turmeric is considered non-toxic and easily digestible. There are currently no known side effects of Acurmin PLUS.
