Violet leaves (Viola odorata) come from a perennial herbaceous plant that is now native to Europe. It is characterized by its heart-shaped leaves and fragrant purple flowers. The essential oil of violet leaves, obtained by extracting the leaves, is rich in alkaloids and flavonoids. It is known for its calming and anti-inflammatory properties.

Spikenard (Nardostachys jatamansi) is a perennial plant that grows primarily in the high altitudes of the Himalayas. It is characterized by its dense clusters of fine leaves and pink to purple inflorescences. Spikenard essential oil, obtained by distilling the roots, contains key components such as sesquiterpenes and valerenic acids. This oil is known for its calming, grounding, and balancing effects.
