FAQ - The most frequently asked questions
For optimal storage, Cherry PLUS should be kept in the freezer or refrigerator. Once opened, the product must be used within 12 weeks.
In accordance with the high quality standards of the Cellavent freshness concept, our Montmorency sour cherry concentrate is stored at 7 degrees in order to protect its valuable ingredients as best as possible. However, the product can be stored outside the refrigerator for several weeks and months without any problems. This only has a minor impact on the quality. It only loses its valuable ingredients when stored outside the refrigerator for more than a year.
The melatonin content of Cherry PLUS concentrate is 15-20µg per half dosing cap (15ml). The recommended daily amount of Cherry PLUS concentrate is 30ml per day. Please note that these are natural products, so the natural melatonin content is subject to the usual, marginal fluctuations.
Montmorency sour cherries contain an above-average amount of anthocyanins, at 30-40mg/100g. The content is significantly higher than that of raspberries, blackberries, strawberries or sweet cherries. The Cherry PLUS concentrate, which is made from over 12kg of Montmorency sour cherries, contains approx. 10mg of anthocyanins per 1ml.
If you stick to the recommended daily dose of 30ml of Cherry PLUS concentrate, a 500ml bottle will last for around 15 days. If you take 15ml, Cherry PLUS concentrate will last you a month.
