Carotenoids – natural power for healthy skin & nails
Carotenoids are natural pigments that give plants like carrots, tomatoes, and marigolds their vibrant colors. They belong to the group of secondary plant substances and have strong antioxidant effects—meaning they protect cells from harmful free radicals. In the body, certain carotenoids such as lutein , zeaxanthin , and lycopene are preferentially stored in the skin, where they can protect against oxidative stress, such as UV radiation. They also contribute to a balanced, fresh complexion.
💡 If you have skin imperfections or brittle nails, don't just pay attention to your skincare products – diet, sleep quality , and oxidative stress also play a role. A micronutrient analysis can provide clues to deficiencies – especially in zinc and biotin.

Are there any side effects when using FemBe Skin+Nail Formula?
FemBe Skin+Nail formula is generally well tolerated. However, people with known allergies or sensitivities to certain ingredients should consult a doctor before use.
How long does it take until I see results?
Results may vary depending on individual condition and needs, but as a general rule we recommend being patient and using FemBe Skin+Nail Formula regularly for at least four to six weeks to see visible improvement.
How can I further care for my skin and nails?
Drinking enough water and moisturizing help the skin to stay elastic and strengthen the nails. The skin should be protected from UV rays and chemicals. Gentle care and sufficient sleep also support regeneration.
Why did we decide against collagen, silicon and elastane?
The answer is relatively simple: All of these ingredients either do not have sufficient evidence, or it is not possible to combine them with other ingredients in sufficiently high doses. Collagen, for example, is a macroprotein of which you need to consume 5 to 15 g per day - almost impossible to achieve with capsules. Because we do not want to use ingredients that are ineffective or dosed too low, you will not find these substances in our ingredients.

What endangers the nails?
Frequent washing, aggressive nail polish removers, lack of moisture, lack of nutrients, constant contact with chemicals and excessive pressure (e.g. from nail biting) weaken the nails. Stress, artificial nails and an unhealthy diet can also have a negative effect on the nail structure.
What damages the skin?
UV radiation, environmental pollution, incorrect care products, excessive cleansing and a lack of moisture damage the skin. Unhealthy diet, stress, smoking and lack of sleep can also lead to premature skin aging and a dull, dry complexion.
What nutrients are needed for healthy skin and nails?
Poor skin and brittle nails are often caused by a lack of sufficient vitamins and minerals such as biotin, zinc, vitamins A, C and E. Iron deficiency, too few omega-3 fatty acids and insufficient fluid intake can also play a role.
