The challenge
Inositol is a natural component of many plants and a valuable companion for women's health. However, large quantities are often needed for this natural plant substance to be effective: you would need to take 4 g or more a day of simple myo-inositol, or myo- and D-chiro-inositol in a 40:1 ratio. That quickly adds up to 8 capsules a day.
In addition, many conventional products contain numerous unnecessary additives and the list of ingredients is often unmanageable and long.
Be5 Inositol Form
Be5 is based on the first inositol complex in the ideal 3.6:1 ratio: Caronositol Fertility® - study-based and effective even in low doses.
With just three high-quality ingredients, Be5 focuses on the essentials: myo-inositol, D-chrio-inositol and methyltetrahydrofolate (activated vitamin B9). The two valuable types of inositol are obtained through gentle water extraction from natural sources such as corn and carob fruit. We avoid unnecessary additives and only use what really offers you added value and makes sense from a current study perspective.
The new Ehrlich
The market is flooded with products that claim to be scientifically based and premium - bullshit. They are often enriched with cheap raw materials, incorrect dosage or nonsensical multi-ingredient mixtures - "fairground mixtures" as we call them. The aim is to offer as many trendy raw materials as possible in low dosages, usually without any benefit. Enough of that - it's about our health!
Our approach: At the start of product development, a team of scientific staff examines all relevant studies, including raw materials, dosages, dosage form and co-factors. Branded raw materials are analyzed for additives and manufacturing methods. Our interdisciplinary team of doctors, alternative practitioners, nutritionists and product developers then discusses the results and determines the next steps.
The difference: products with scientifically based recipes and real benefits. We only use the highest quality raw materials in study-based dosages and without unnecessary additives .

Inositol & Folic Acid – Balance & Growth
Inositol was formerly known as vitamin B8 and plays a central role in cell metabolism, supports hormonal balance and thus female well-being. This naturally occurring substance is found primarily in many plant-based foods and is therefore often neglected in the modern diet.
Scientific research has recently focused on the effects of inositol on various aspects of women's health , including metabolic processes in the ovaries . Various chemical sub-forms of inositol can be distinguished. The two most important are myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol , which complement each other in their effects. For a long time it was assumed that pure myo-inositol, or a 40:1 ratio of myo- to D-chiro-inositol, would be useful. However, up to 4 g were necessary as a daily dose for these to be effective.
Caronositol Fertility® solves this problem: an innovative 3.6:1 ratio of the two inositol forms optimizes the effect and lower doses of just 1.2 g are sufficient.
Good to know: Mendoza et al. were able to show in 2019 that a 3.6:1 ratio of myo-inositol to D-chiro-inositol was more effective than a 40:1 mixture with the same total amount1. But the second component of Be5 is also scientifically convincing: instead of synthetic folic acid, already reduced and thus activated 5-methyltetrahydrofolate is used. This form of vitamin B9 is the most common form in nature and can also be absorbed by people who suffer from an enzyme deficiency that prevents the activation of folic acid. This not only makes vitamin B9 better absorbed, but also prevents unmetabolized folic acid from accumulating in the body(2),(3).
Optimal intake
Take 2 capsules daily with sufficient liquid with or after a meal.
This is what it contains
Inositol complex (Caronositol-Fertility®), capsule shell: cellulose, Quatrefolic ((6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate glucosamine salt) (vitamin B9).
Ingredients | daily dose (2 capsules) |
---|---|
Carnonositol-Fertility® Inositol | 1.200 mg |
of which myo-inositol | 960 mg |
of which D-chiro-inostitol | 240 mg |
folic acid | 400 µg |
Why don’t we use other B vitamins, berberine, chromium, or alpha-lipoic acid?
Many women know these ingredients as useful combinations with inositol for PCO. And many of them have scientifically proven benefits. The problem lies in the dosage: If you want to take other ingredients in addition to inositol, you would quickly have to take 4, 5 or even 6 capsules a day. To avoid this, we have decided to split these ingredients: CaronositolFertility is only combined with methyltetrahydrofolate and other useful ingredients will soon be combined in a separate product.

FAQ - The most frequently asked questions
FemBe Inositol formula is generally well tolerated. However, people with known allergies or sensitivities to certain ingredients should consult a doctor before use.
Inositol is a naturally occurring vitaminoid found in various foods. It supports important cellular functions, particularly those related to hormone signaling and insulin regulation. Inositol is often used to support hormonal balance.
Folic acid, also known as vitamin B9, is crucial for cell division and the growth of maternal tissues. It is especially recommended to meet the needs during pregnancy and to support the formation of red blood cells. It also plays a role in the metabolism of amino acids.
No, at FemBe we focus on the essentials and therefore avoid unnecessary additives. Our products contain only high-quality branded raw materials and are developed taking into account the latest scientific findings.
Inositol is used in PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) because it can help improve insulin sensitivity and support hormonal balance. This can help regulate the menstrual cycle and support general well-being.
Folic acid is particularly important during pregnancy because it plays a central role in cell division and the formation of new cells. It helps to support the rapidly developing fetus and reduces the risk of neural tube defects. Therefore, experts also recommend an increased intake of folic acid
recommended for those wishing to have children.
It is recommended to start taking folic acid at least one month before conception and continue throughout pregnancy. This will ensure adequate supply to the body and the developing fetus from the very beginning of pregnancy.
