What are the best iron tablets?
Gentle iron absorption with lactoferrin & vitamin C
Lactoferrin is an iron-binding transport protein that facilitates intestinal absorption – without any side effects such as nausea or cramps. It is related to the body's own transferrin and is gently extracted from European milk – with over 95% purity.
Iron bisglycinate is present in an organically bound chelate form—ideal for high absorption and low stomach stress. Natural vitamin C from rosehips further enhances iron absorption.
This formula was specially developed for women who are conscious about their ferritin levels and iron balance during their period, during stress or during their diet.
Who is FemBe Iron ideal for – and how do you take it correctly?
Our iron formula was specially developed for women who are conscious about their ferritin levels and iron levels during their period, during stress or during their diet.
Depending on your current iron intake, you take 1-2 capsules daily with some water and a meal.
Compared to conventional iron tablets, the capsule is smaller, easier to swallow and significantly more tolerable for the stomach.

Things to know
Iron deficiency, ferritin & Co
Iron deficiency is not uncommon – especially in women who menstruate or follow a vegetarian diet.
A low ferritin level (< 30 ng/ml) may indicate an empty iron store despite a “normal” blood count.
Symptoms such as fatigue, brittle nails or hair loss are typical warning signs.
💡 If you suspect a deficiency, have your ferritin level and transferrin saturation checked regularly to know your iron status exactly.

Are there any side effects when using FemBe Iron Formula?
How does iron deficiency manifest itself in women?
Typical symptoms include fatigue, paleness, hair loss, cold hands, or difficulty concentrating. If you suspect iron deficiency, please have your iron levels checked by a doctor.
Why are women particularly affected?
Due to menstruation, pregnancy or breastfeeding-related increased iron requirements, many women regularly lose iron – often without noticing it.
Which blood values should I have checked?
Ferritin (storage iron) and transferrin saturation (transport value) are important. Optimal values for women are 70–150 ng/ml ferritin and 25–35% transferrin saturation.
Is FemBe Iron suitable for vegans?
The capsule is vegan – however, lactoferrin comes from milk and is therefore only vegetarian.
What distinguishes FemBe Iron from conventional iron tablets?
It contains no harmful sulfate or gluconate. Instead, it contains iron bisglycinate, lactoferrin, and vitamin C – for maximum absorption and minimal side effects.
What is the difference between heme iron and non-heme iron?
Heme iron (from meat) is better absorbed. Non-heme iron (from plants) can be better utilized when combined with vitamin C.
What are the causes of iron deficiency?
Why not just take iron gluconate or sulfate?
Most common iron products contain these compounds. But they not only have a low bioavailability: because they are not absorbed well in the intestines, they remain in the digestive tract and oxidize there. The result: gastrointestinal problems and black stools - and the recommendation to increase the dose even more! Because what is not absorbed cannot fill the storage - a vicious circle of increasingly severe side effects begins. Iron bisglycinate, lactoferrin and vitamin C prevent exactly this process in three ways.
FemBe only puts in what works and is good for you. Period!
Can I take FemBe Iron with medication?
Iron supplements can affect the absorption of certain medications. It's best to leave them 1–2 hours apart and consult your doctor if in doubt.
What does “organic chelate form” mean?
The iron is bound to an amino acid (glycine) – this makes it particularly well absorbed and causes fewer symptoms.
What exactly is lactoferrin?
A bioactive transport protein from milk that efficiently binds iron and transports it through the intestinal wall. Studies show up to 50% improved absorption.
When should I take iron supplements?
Best taken with a meal – but not with calcium, coffee or black tea, as these inhibit absorption.
